Principal, Investment Strategist, Investment Committee Member

Mr. Salpietro provides independent (product-free), objective (commission-free) guidance to clients as it relates to their invested assets. Gaining a thorough understanding of his client's unique financial circumstance through consultation, he designs, implements, and maintains effective financial solutions that allow his clients to meet their long-term financial goals and objectives. Mr. Salpietro works with profit and Non-Profit [501(C)(3)] organizations, Taft-Hartley plans, and high-net-worth individuals with investments of $1 million and above. Mr. Salpietro has extensive knowledge and experience working with a full range of investment alternatives. He is very knowledgeable in the areas of investment research, financial statement analysis, business operations, and management.

Mr. Salpietro joined XPYRIA Investment Advisors in 1997 and is a Principal Shareholder. His finance experience spans 22 years dating back to his previous service with PNC Bank Corporation where he was a Vice President. He earned a BA in Business and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Duquesne University. Mr. Salpietro is a Charted Financial Consultant. Mr. Salpietro is also fluent in Italian.

 
Bret J. Stutzman
Bret J. Stutzman

Principal, Investment Strategist, Investment Committee Co-Chair

Mr. Stutzman conducts in-depth investment research that is instrumental in the construction, maintenance, and management of client portfolios. This research includes the procurement of primary data via direct investment manager interviews as well as obtaining information from our extensive data resources. In addition, Mr. Stutzman provides investment advice to Taft-Hartley, corporate, closely held corporations, Non-Profit [501(C)(3)] organizations, and high-net-worth individuals. He has experience in portfolio construction methodology, asset allocation decisions, and risk reduction through diversification of funds among various asset classes, investment styles, and money managers. He is very knowledgeable in the area of mutual fund analysis and investment research. Mr. Stutzman is a member of the Firm's Investment Committee.

Mr. Stutzman joined XPYRIA Investment Advisors in 1997 and is a Principal Shareholder. He earned a BA from the University of Richmond and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh, Katz Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Cummings employs a consultative approach to the management of client assets. He specializes in consulting to Non-Profit [501(C)(3)] organizations, Taft-Hartley, corporate, closely held corporations, as well as high-net-worth individuals with investments of $1 million and above. He has experience in portfolio construction methodology, asset allocation decisions, and diversification of funds among various asset classes, investment styles, and money managers. He is very knowledgeable in the area of mutual fund analysis and compliance matters. Mr. Cummings is a member of the Firm's Investment Committee.

Mr. Cummings joined XPYRIA Investment Advisors in 1998 and is a Principal Shareholder. His finance experience spans 21 years with his previous work as an Assistant Vice President and Investment Counsel at Federated Investors. He earned a BA from Slippery Rock University, a Master of Education from California University of Pennsylvania, and a Juris Doctor and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Duquesne University. Mr. Cummings is a Charted Financial Consultant and an Accredited Estate Planner.

 
Michael B. Giammatteo
Michael B. Giammatteo

Principal, Investment Strategist, Investment Committee Co-Chair

Mr. Giammatteo conducts in-depth investment research that is instrumental in the design, construction, and management of client portfolios. He is responsible for the procurement of primary investment research for the exclusive benefit of the Firm and its clients. Mr. Giammatteo and our research staff put each investment idea through a quantitative and qualitative review prior to being presented for final approval to the Firm's Investment Committee. Mr. Giammatteo is a member of the Firm's Investment Committee.

Mr. Giammatteo joined the Firm in 1999 and is a Principal Shareholder. His financial experience covers 16 years with prior work for Mellon Bank, Merrill Lynch, and Olde Discount Stockbrokers. He earned a BA in Economics from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Duquesne University.

 
Jana A. Graham
Jana A. Graham

Associate Investment Strategist

Ms. Graham is a member of the firm's investment research group where she assists in conducting investment research. She provides technical support for data gathering, modeling, case design, scenario building, plan development, and presentation development. Ms. Graham's responsibilities also include support of back-office activities such as daily transaction and price file updates, trade reconcilement, custodial interfacing, and accounts receivable processing. Leveraging Jana's technical expertise and tenure with the Firm, she has functioned as project manager for many of our Firm's technological enhancements.

Ms. Graham joined XPYRIA Investment Advisors in 2002. She earned a BS in Chemical Engineering, a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh.

Operations Specialist

Ms. Esposito joined XPYRIA Investment Advisors in 2004. Her responsibilities include setup and maintenance of client accounts; compilation and completion of client, custodian, and Firm paperwork; review and maintenance of client transactions and activities; asset transfers; daily transaction and price file updates; trade reconciliation; custodial interfacing; accounts receivable processing; preparation of client reports; and, general support of portfolio and investment strategies.

Ms. Esposito earned a BSBA in Finance and Investment Management, an MBA, and a Master of Science in Information Systems Management from Duquesne University.

Mr. Heller joined XPYRIA Investment Advisors in 2006. He earned a BSBA in Finance and Investment Management from Duquesne University and a MBA from Robert Morris University. Mr. Heller honorably served in the United States Marine Corps from 1999 to 2006.

Mr. DeCaro is a member of the firm’s investment research group where he assists in conducting in-depth investment research that is instrumental in the construction, maintenance, and management of client portfolios. This research includes the procurement of primary data via direct investment manager interviews as well as analyzing information from our extensive data resources.

Mr. DeCaro joined XPYRIA Investment Advisors in 2009. He earned a BSBA in Finance and Marketing and a Minor in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.  He is currently working on his MBA at the University of Pittsburgh.

Mr. Klos is XPYRIA's emissary to the Taft-Hartley, union, public, and related marketplace. His responsibilities include representing and communicating our Firm's value and experience to these very important market segments. Mr. Klos has been a member of our team for over 14 years and his knowledge and experience as it relates to these market segments is unsurpassed.

Prior to joining XPYRIA, Mr. Klos was the president of a 3,000 person union for 15 years.

Administrative Assistant

Ms. Sergi provides clerical and administrative support to the staff and ensures that the office runs smoothly and efficiently. She is responsible for facilities management, supply procurement, and serves as an information manager for the office.

Ms. Sergi has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years. Ms. Sergi has a Associate Degree from the Duff's Business Institute.
