  • The November employment report showed 263,000 new jobs added (expectation was 200,000), and the unemployment rate remained steady at 3.7%
  • The Fed’s preferred inflation measure, Core PCE, rose 0.2% month-over-month and 5.0% year-over-year
  • Fun Fact: Did you know that a woman was elected to U.S. Congress before women could vote? Jeannette Rankin was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1916, which was four years before the 19th Amendment gave women the right to vote. To this day, she is the only woman ever elected to Congress from Montana
