Monday 02/12:

  • Carnival holiday in Brazil, which runs through February 13th


Tuesday 02/13:

  • Coca-Cola, Shopify, Airbnb, Zoetis, Moody’s, EQT Corporation, and IAC report earnings
  • National Pancake Day – to celebrate, IHOP is offering a free short stack from 7am-7pm
  • February 13th is also National Tortellini Day, but sadly I haven’t found any delicious pasta deals
  • U.S. consumer price index (CPI) data for January
  • CPI is expected to have risen 0.2% month-over-month and 2.9% year-over-year
  • Core CPI, which excludes volatile food and energy costs, is expected to have risen 0.3% month-over-month and 3.7% year-over-year
  • U.S. NFIB Small Business Optimism Index for January
  • U.K. jobless claims and unemployment data


Wednesday 02/14:

  • Cisco Systems, Sony, Equinix, Occidental Petroleum, The Kraft Heinz Company, Energy Transfer, IQVIA, Global Payments, Owens Corning, Albemarle, and Curtiss-Wright report earnings
  • Ash Wednesday, which commences the Christian Lent period
  • U.K. CPI data for January
  • Eurozone industrial production and GDP data
  • Canada existing home sales for January


Thursday 02/15:

  • Applied Materials, Deere, Stellantis, Southern Company, Ingersoll Rand, CBRE Group, EPAM Systems, Globant SA, and Casella Waste Systems report earnings
  • U.S. retail sales and industrial production data for January
  • U.S. initial jobless claims and continuing claims data
  • U.K. industrial production and GDP data
  • The U.K.’s Q4 2023 GDP is expected to have grown by 0.1% year-over-year
  • Japan industrial production and GDP data
  • Japan’s Q4 2023 GDP is expected to have grown by 1.2% annualized


Friday 02/16:

  • PPL Corporation reports earnings
  • U.S. housing starts and building permits data for January
  • U.S. producer price index (PPI) data for January
  • U.S. University of Michigan consumer sentiment index (preliminary February data)
